Hot Cacao Recipe
Here, we have combined the antioxidants of cacao with turmeric, famed for its anti-inflammatory properties. The coconut oil helps to emulsify the raw cacao so that you get a silky consistency.

Ingredients
- 400ml almond milk
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- ½ tsp raw maca powder
- ½ tsp ground turmeric
- 3 pinches of ground cinnamon
- Pinch of cayenne
- Pinch of sea salt
Method
1. Heat the almond milk and coconut oil in a saucepan. Mix a little of the warm milk with the rest of the ingredients to form a smooth, loose paste.
2. Add this to the rest of the milk and whisk to combine all the ingredients before serving.
