Andrea says: “We had our first ‘babyccino’ with the kids on a sailing trip through Croatia with our Slovenian friends. The kids still ask for it, so we re-created this delicious drink at home – it’s the perfect swap for sugary hot chocolate. Combine a little steamed oat or almond milk with a sprinkle of cacao powder and you’ve got yourself a European- inspired delicacy!”
Ingredients
- 1 cup oat or almond milk
- 1 teaspoon coconut sugar
- 1 tablespoon cacao powder, plus extra for topping
Method
1. Whisk all the ingredients together in a saucepan and heat over medium heat, 2 to 3 minutes. Pour into a mug.
2. Sprinkle with a little extra cacao powder and serve.
